According to today's Oregonian article, a real estate research firm Clear Capital reports that Portland area home values are expected to stabilize and even rebound in 2012.  They forecast a 1.9% increase in the Portland Metro area.  I do feel the close-in areas have bottomed out already and the rest of the market will start the slow recovery process soon.
